Rep. Costello Applauds Passage of Bipartisan Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization

Rep. Ryan Costello (PA-06) today issued the following statement applauding the passage of Championing Healthy Kids Act, bipartisan legislation that included a five-year reauthorization of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP):

"I have been committed to the swift reauthorization of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), as this program provides insurance coverage for thousands of children in my district and even more throughout Pennsylvania. Passage of the bill today includes a five-year reauthorization of CHIP, which will provide the certainty that families in my community and across the country who utilize this program deserve." --Rep. Rep. Costello has been working in Congress to secure reauthorization of this critical program, which serves over 7,000 children in Pennsylvania's Sixth Congressional District and nearly 177,000 throughout Pennsylvania.
